As guests wandered through the venue, they were greeted by an array of tables showcasing the different areas of our Trust. From Governance to SCITT (School-Centered Initial Teacher Training), each table offered a unique peek into what we do. One of the most exciting additions was the Alkerden table, where we unveiled our brand-new school development — a unique project with ample potential that can cater to eager attendees. But perhaps the real highlight was our refreshments table, keeping everyone fuelled and energised as they explored the event!

In the background, a video reel ran throughout the evening, showcasing our Trust's diverse schools and the incredible staff who make each one special. The feedback was overwhelmingly positive, with many attendees commenting on how the video captured the sense of collaboration and community that is at the heart of our Trust. It was clear that people appreciated seeing the ways in which staff get involved and work together across different schools, strengthening our overall mission.

We were thrilled to see such a wide range of people attending the fair. From senior leaders to those interested in teaching and non-teaching roles, the event attracted a broad spectrum of individuals all eager to learn more about the opportunities available within our Trust. It was inspiring to see so many passionate professionals in one room, all sharing a common interest in helping students thrive.

Workshops for Success

We were proud to offer seven workshops over the course of the evening, including two sessions each of Apply Yourself: School Application Success, Interview Essentials, and Train to Teach: Everything You Need to Know. These workshops provided valuable advice and guidance for anyone interested in pursuing a career in education, from tips on how to craft a standout application to preparing for successful interviews and understanding the training pathways available within our Trust.

Spotlight on Alkerden

In the middle of the break, we held a special Alkerden session to give attendees an overview of this exciting new development. As a unique opportunity for both new and experienced professionals, Alkerden promises to offer an exceptional environment for growth, innovation, and collaboration across our primary and secondary phases. We received a lot of positive feedback, and it was clear that many were eager to learn more about what Alkerden can bring to both the education landscape and to their own careers.
