Consultations

On this page, consultations for our upcoming projects include new developments, expansions and site relocations

Alkerden C of E Academy

Section 10 Consultation

As part of the process of opening the new academy, Aletheia Academies Trust is legally required to hold a consultation exercise (under section 10 of the Academies Act 2010) to determine whether the Trust should enter into a Funding Agreement with the Department for Education to run the new academy.

This consultation will be run online between 4th November and 13th December 2024. It will allow parents/carers and pupils, staff and governors from local schools, other Local Authorities, Councillors, local residents and any other interested parties to learn more about Alkerden C of E Academy and Aletheia Academies Trust, and share their views.

Stone St. Mary's C of E Primary School

As our own admissions authority, we are required under the School Admissions Code 2021 to review our admissions policies and consult on our arrangements occasionally.

The code requires consultation in the following circumstances.

  1. When changes are proposed to admission arrangements, all admission authorities must consult on their admission arrangements (including any supplementary information on a form) that will apply for admission applications the following school year.
  2. Where the admission arrangements have not changed from the previous year, there is no requirement to consult, subject to the requirement that admission authorities must consult on their admission arrangements at least once every 7 years, even if there have been no changes during that period.

We at Stone St. Mary C of E Primary School are consulting as it has been 7 years since our last consultation.

We would like the views of everyone who feels that they may be affected by our policy.
