Aletheia establishes relationship with Computing at School (CAS)
The newly formed primary CAS community (North Kent Primary), based at Aletheia Academies Trust, welcomed Will Franklin (primary teacher and CAS Community Outreach Manager) on Wednesday 4th May 2022.
He ran a workshop on developing a primary computing curriculum and introduced teachers from AAT to a complete KS1 and 2 curriculum that has been designed by the National Centre for Computing Education. This was also an opportunity to network with other local teachers.
We explored the high-quality, free resources available from the NCCE to build on what’s currently being taught to make it even better!!
Staff also learned how to use the Teach Computing website.
