How we Support Schools
At Aletheia Academies Trust, we are committed to helping every school, and every child, go from strength to strength. We believe in inclusive practice, and in learning that is active, collaborative, and built on real relationships.
Every school in our Trust, whether Church of England or community, keeps its own distinctive identity and stays rooted in the community it serves. For our Church of England schools, that means a Christian ethos at the heart of everything they do. And across all our schools, Church of England and community alike, we grow stronger by working together.

Collaborative Professional Networks
We believe school improvement works best when it is school-led and Trust-enabled – a genuine partnership, not something done to schools. Our academies share their expertise generously, learning from one another and growing stronger together.
We bring together senior leaders, teachers and support staff from across the Trust to:
- Share effective practice and fresh thinking
- Strengthen leadership at every level
- Build consistency schools can rely on
- Celebrate what we achieve together
These networks mean every school both contributes to, and benefits from, the strength of the whole Trust.

A Supportive Approach
Our approach is thoughtful, focused and built to last. We work closely with every school to:
- Build a clear picture of where you are now, and shape a development plan for where you’re heading
- Check in regularly on the things that matter most: teaching, curriculum, leadership and wellbeing
- Tailor our support to your school’s own context and stage of the journey
- Keep everyone moving in the same direction, with clear reporting that celebrates progress
- Bring Trust-wide priorities and your school’s own vision together through regular, supportive reviews
This gives every school the clarity of being part of something bigger, while holding on to exactly what makes it their own.

Excellence in Every Lesson
At Aletheia, we are passionate about making sure every classroom has a confident, brilliant teacher at the front of it. Through great training, ongoing support and strong leadership development, we help our staff deliver learning that truly inspires.
Here is what you can expect from us:
- Regular CPD and leadership development opportunities
- A Lead Practitioner network sharing best practice across the Trust
- Coaching and mentoring for staff at every stage of their career
- Specialist support in curriculum, pedagogy and inclusion
When our teachers feel supported and inspired, our pupils thrive.

Understanding and Nurturing Every Pupil
Our improvement strategy is built on strong relationships and really knowing every child. We care as much about personal development and wellbeing as we do about academic success, so every pupil feels known, valued and supported.
Across all our schools, we bring this to life through:
- A nurturing culture rooted in shared values – and, in our Church of England schools, a Christian ethos
- Inclusive practice that meets the needs of every learner
- Strong safeguarding and pastoral care
- Opportunities for pupils to grow in confidence, character and community
When we know our children well, we can help each one become their best self; ready to learn, lead and flourish.
