Naomi Mercer
Director of People and Culture
Naomi joined Aletheia Academies Trust in 2026 as Director of People and Culture, bringing extensive experience in HR leadership across education and the public sector, including Higher and Further Education, Local Authority and the NHS.
Before joining Aletheia, Naomi spent seven years at Leigh Academies Trust, joining as a People Partner in 2019 and progressing to Deputy People Director.
Naomi holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Canterbury Christ Church University and is a Chartered Member of the CIPD.
She believes that when colleagues truly thrive, children flourish and is committed to building a People and Culture function that serves every member of the Aletheia family in support of the Trust’s mission of improving life chances for local children and communities.
